A porch roof should at least be half a meter above ground level. The slight white trim around the windows work well with the white covered patio on the left . Plus, I wanted to share how this awning was placed under the eave on the mobile home and it doesn’t look to have much of a pitch. This is in Southern California so it doesn’t need to hold much of a live load therefore you have a couple more installation options available to you. Now that you’ve seen the pros and cons of the most popular roof over materials, it’s time you choose a method that works within your budget and skill set. Many roof over kits come with an instruction kit that can guide you accordingly. While coming up with the money for repairs can be difficult for some, please don’t let your budget be the ultimate decision maker. Those will less experience should hire a professional if needed.
